WPU is now recognized as the Provincial Center for Human Rights Education by the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines and in cooperation with the Philippine Working Group for an ASEAN Mechanism, Ateneo de Manila University Human Rights Center and National Federation of Centers for Human Rights Education.
